Kara J. Van Blarcum

Kara is a Senior Project Manager with more than 15 years of environmental compliance experience. Early in her career, she completed visual and biological assessments to determine the water quality of streams, facilitated environmental education presentations regarding watersheds and stormwater runoff, and completed erosion control/stormwater inspections of residential and commercial construction projects.

More recently, her work has included air permitting and modeling, hazardous waste management compliance, environmental due diligence assessments, storm water and erosion control inspections, spill prevention plans, storm water pollution prevention plans, greenhouse gas reporting, and environmental compliance audits. Kara is currently the Waste and Materials Management Service Line Leader as well as the Tier II/TRI Solution Leader. She is knowledgeable in EPCRA reporting including Tier II reports in a variety of states, and TRI reporting for numerous industries.
