The client, a luxury jeweler, requested a resource conservation playbook for one of their manufacturing facilities. The goal was to identify and assess potential energy, water, and waste conservation opportunities and develop practices that could reduce resource consumption and promote responsible resource management. The resource conservation playbook would also address employee awareness and provide a guide for establishing an on-site resource management team.
Solution
The resource conservation playbook was written in collaboration with two Antea Group Project Managers based on information collected from the facility. Once the facility provided data, the Antea Group team conducted a review and provided feedback and additional requests for the facility. After the initial playbook was drafted, it went through several rounds of review and comment during which the Project Manager maintained communications with the client to collect more information and facilitate the closing of data gaps in the report.
Following the completion of the resource conservation playbook, a closing call was held with the client to discuss any questions they had regarding the playbook and its implementation.
Result
The final resource conservation playbook covered employee awareness, development of a resource management team, tracking resource data, continuous improvement, and conservation and management strategies for energy, water, and waste. After delivering the playbook, Antea Group remained available to the client to answer questions and support implementation.
While this playbook was drafted for the one specific facility, the client operates several other facilities throughout southeast Asia that can also benefit from the strategies outlined in the playbook.
