About Me in 140 characters (or more!):
I am 29 years old, born and raised in Colorado, and love my life! I have a great office of people in Denver to work with and the beautiful mountains to consume my free time. I have a puppy and a cat, live in Golden, CO, and am engaged to a fellow School of Mines engineer, Erik. I love mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, trail running, and fly fishing (typical Colorado resident).
Favorite Thing about Being a Practitioner:
I really enjoy the variety of work that I have been able to be a part of here at Antea Group. I like the constant challenge of working with new people and new projects!
What is the most interesting project you’ve ever worked on?
I was the project manager for an intense source-testing project for a bulk terminal in Texas in 2015 that was a whirlwind, involving a lot of coordination and specific skill sets from people across the country in a very short amount of time. I was truly impressed with the commitment of our field staff and the willingness of people across the country to help out and execute this substantial project on such a quick timeline.
What do you consider your biggest professional achievement so far?
I have been really lucky to have the opportunity to lead a few client accounts and be involved on the business development side of our work. I really enjoy this since I am a ‘big picture’ person, and I have had great mentors around me to learn about the process.
If you had one month off, where would you go or what would you do?
I would go on a backpacking trip in Patagonia- it’s on my to-do list.
Is there something unique that people might not know about you?
I played softball in college, and really miss that competitive aspect of my life! I have learned to focus that energy into ‘adulting’ though….and backcountry skiing.
If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza. All day, every day.
