Richard Taylor, PhD

I’m a passionate ESG and Sustainability professional with deep technical background across a variety of sectors. I have 10 years of logistics experience, implementing resource and process optimization projects in the retail and professional services sectors. I have extensive data analytics experience stemming from years as a research scientist in academia. I have a PhD in Geochemistry with a focus on carbon. I am the Subject Matter Expert for our Materiality and Double Materiality Services, which is a process used to help clients align to stakeholder expectations and priorities around ESG Topics. As the Leader of the ESG Advisory Service Line, our strategic consulting arm of the Sustainability Practice, I take a foundational approach to helping clients unravel complexity and design strategic ESG objectives to drive at business value. I serve domestic and international clients from our Charlotte North Carolina office.
