The execution of the project was broken down into three steps. The first step was the design and procurement phase, when the system layout, configuration and design were created. Antea Group also coordinated the equipment procurement, client review and approval, engineering supports and project management.
The second step involved the construction management. Our tasks included contractor management, engineering inspections, and support, record-keeping and as-built drawing and documentation.
Step three involved the start-up and compliance of the system. Antea Group facilitated the system start-up and ramp-up, created the operator training and O&M manual, conducted the discharge performance sampling and analysis, and completed the permit application and compliance testing.
Result
Antea Group’s three-step process resulted in the most technical, financial and practical solution for the client. Innovative treatment was applied while scope, schedule, contractors, suppliers, and budget were all effectively managed. The continuity in implementation of wastewater treatment strategies and compliance goals was ensured for the organization.
