As a consultant to private industry for more than 24 years, Tristan engages with clients to develop customized and innovative solutions that drive sustainability across the entire value chain. With diverse experience building fit-for-purpose solutions for a broad range of industries, including Manufacturing, Food & Beverage and Oil & Gas, he understands that any program must make business sense for effective implementation.
Over the past several years, Tristan has been exploring circular economy principles and developing a deep understanding of the EHS and sustainability-related challenges manufacturing companies face around reuse, recycling and remanufacturing of materials. This focus on circular economy has allowed him to connect and actively participate in thought-leading industry partnerships and coalitions including: The Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s CE100 Program, the REMADE Institute, the United Nations Environmental Program’s Industry Response Panel, and the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council.
Tristan has co-authored several circular economy-related publications, including: “Modularity in ICT” (October 2016) and “Water and the Circular Economy” (October 2018); and has presented and facilitated multiple circular economy-related topics and working groups. Currently, he serves as the Antea Group Program Lead for the CE100; is a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee and Technical Advisory Committee for the REMADE Institute; and provides project and consulting support to the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council.
Tristan’s other expertise includes: innovation program leadership; operational leadership; EHS program development; merger and acquisition support; strategic environmental liability management; knowledge management and learning management systems; risk management and compliance; and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Virginia Tech.
