Noel Russ

Noel Russ is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) with 30 years of experience in the environmental industry. He specializes in a broad spectrum of disciplines across many sectors of industry.  Noel has extensive experience in Emergency Spill Response and has managed oil spills ranging from small heating oil spills and UST failures to some of the largest events in our nation’s history.  He is proficient in chemical spill response and has provided emergency response, mitigation, waste characterization and closure to the energy, manufacturing and transportation sectors as well as schools and institutions. 

Noel has an eye for detail and his main emphasis has always been on the protection of employee health & safety, and minimization of environmental impact.  These efforts have made him proficient in assisting his clients in maintaining a culture of safety and environmental compliance.  He has done this through audits of systems and processes, and seeing where they intersect with the regulations regarding RCRA, DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation & Storage, Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS), Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) and many OSHA Health & Safety codes including HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry & Rescue to name a few.
