Megan Richard, Senior Project Manager, has 16 years of environmental consulting experience in the petroleum sector. She has experience in the petroleum field addressing various contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gas, diesel, and oil at various retail, pipeline, and bulk plant facilities across the country including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Outside of the petroleum sector, Megan has experience developing Soil Management Plans for the railroad industry, as well as completing site visits for the development of Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and Phase I Site Assessments. Megan has aided in the investigation of insurance claims. Megan has also aided legal teams by conducting environmental investigations and archive research for sites potentially entering litigation. Megan additionally has experience with assurance inspections at retail petroleum sites and corrective action management and training as needed.
Megan also has worked in the industrial field addressing various contaminates of concern including VOCs, SVOCs, heavy metals and chlorinated solvents at a variety of chrome plating facilities, chemical manufacturing plants, and the aerospace engineering industry in California.
