Antea Group is pleased to announce that Tristan Steichen, Senior Consultant based in Philadelphia, has been appointed to lead our Manufacturing Segment. With over 22 years of experience in environment, health, safety, and sustainability consulting, Tristan specializes in EHS program development, transaction support for mergers and acquisitions, strategic liability management planning, regulatory compliance, e-learning, and knowledge management solutions for private sector clients.
As the Antea Group program lead to the REMADE Institute, a multiagency network focused on clean energy, innovation, and sustainability to improve U.S. manufacturing competitiveness, Tristan has developed a deep understanding of the EHS and sustainability-related challenges manufacturing companies face around reuse, recycling and remanufacturing of materials. He has also participated in and presented at CE100 and United Nations Environment Programme events on the topics of consumer acceptance of remanufactured products, the benefits of modularity in the information and communications technology sector, and most recently, an exploration of integrating Circular Economy and water.
“Manufacturing as an industry is going through a time of rapid and disruptive change across technology, processes, and talent,” says Steichen. “From an EHS and sustainability standpoint, these changes are driving companies beyond traditional regulatory compliance and into areas of greater stakeholder engagement, brand management, and operational efficiency. From turning data into insights and improving risk management to doing more with less while still creating value, there are endless opportunities for Antea Group to help prepare our clients for the next generation of manufacturing.”
